Political progressive, who thinks government gets to tell employers what is and isn’t necessary in their workforce. I can decide that wearing a tie everyday is not at all necessary for the performance of my job. But my employer gets to make that call.

I think employers are free to mandate what they think they need to in order to keep their workforces healthy as possible and out of work as infrequently as possible. And I think states can determine that employees who decide to make that a cause chose to leave their jobs voluntarily.
